Governors Action Alliance (GovAct) is a nonpartisan organization that unites governors to champion fundamental freedoms. By fostering bold action across state lines, GovAct drives forward meaningful change to protect essential rights and democratic values across the United States.

GovAct’s priorities are set by the governors and their senior staff based on their urgency and the opportunity for impact. This work is already delivering results through GovAct’s first alliances, the Reproductive Freedom Alliance and Governors Safeguarding Democracy.
