Guinivere Kimber

Special Assistant to the CEO

Guinivere is the Special Assistant to GovAct’s CEO.  Prior to joining GovAct, Guinivere worked at the UCLA School of Law, where she coordinated the academic and administrative work that supports faculty research and teaching. Before that, she served as an assistant communications director in the Maine Senate, working closely with state elected officials to support legislative communications. She also has national political campaign experience as a field organizer, where she oversaw hundreds of volunteers and coordinated county-wide canvassing events. 

Guinivere graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Gender Studies. She concentrated her studies in American Politics, and has a strong interest in public policy and the role of state government in addressing issues that affect communities across the country.
