
Megan Ahearn
Talent and Culture Manager
Megan Ahearn is GovAct’s Talent and Culture Manager, building on her twelve years of experience working for nonprofit organizations dedicated to human rights and sustainable development. Her career has focused on building equitable, people-centered systems that work for geographically distributed teams. Most recently, she supported a global staff of human rights attorneys as Director of Human Resources at the Clooney Foundation for Justice. Prior to that role, she served as Senior Manager of Human Resources & Special Projects at All Out, which campaigns for LGBT+ rights worldwide.
Megan began her career as a Program Manager overseeing the Buckminster Fuller Challenge. Later, she supported the Wright-Ingraham Institute in grant-giving, communications, and strategic planning. She has a B.A. in Anthropology and a B.S. in Sustainability and the Built Environment from the University of Florida, and a M.S. in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia. Megan speaks Spanish and Italian and is attempting to learn Farsi.
