
Inbar Pe’er
Liman Law Fellow
Inbar is a Liman Law Fellow at GovAct, where she draws on her background in national security law, constitutional law, and international law and her passion for public service to advance the organization’s democratic governance initiatives.
A recent graduate of Yale Law School, Inbar served as Student Director of the Peter Gruber Rule of Law Clinic, where she helped re-found and lead the clinic’‘s work on immigration, national security, and separation of powers issues. At Yale, she was also a Herbert Hansell Fellow at the Center for Global Legal Challenges, Co-Chapter Director of the International Refugee Assistance Project, and Co-President of the National Security Group. During law school, she gained experience in government and private practice through positions at the U.S. Department of State’‘s Office of the Legal Advisor, the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law in Malta, and Arnold & Porter. In all of these roles, she dedicated herself to defending human rights and strengthening the rule of law.
Prior to law school, Inbar developed her foundation in international affairs and public policy through research positions at the Atlantic Council and Columbia University’‘s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). In addition to receiving a J.D. from Yale Law School, Inbar has a B.A. from Columbia University, where she studied international politics and graduated in three years.
